Now more than ever, it's important to shop LOCAL. Small businesses have been significantly impacted this year, so instead of donating to a local charity, we're choosing to support our favourite restaurants located in our community. Please enter your name in the draw to win a $100 gift certificate from either the Keg, JOEY or Buchanan's. All draws will be done on Dec 30, 2020.

To better understand how we can help you get the smile that you will love, analyze your smile at home. All you need to do is to stand in front of a mirror and smile at yourself. After this, think of something funny and give a laughing smile. If you are not happy with your teeth, this is the smile you may not be very comfortable with. If you are unhappy with your smile, answer the questions below.
Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is an infection of the gums surrounding your teeth. Periodontal disease is one of the top reasons for tooth loss in adults, and because it is virtually pain free, many patients do not know they have the disease. During each regular checkup, your dentist/hygienist will check for signs of periodontal disease by measuring the space between your teeth and gums. This is known as probing.
Invisalign is a form of clear braces that can shift teeth into alignment, resulting in straight teeth. Invisalign is only successful in certain conditions. To find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, schedule a consultation visit with Dr. Rhemtulla.
We are officially open to help you with all your dental needs!
Our team has been working hard in developing a plan to bring all dental services back in a safe and efficient manner. Things will look a little different when you come back to the clinic but the care and service you will receive will be the same.
Below are some of the improvements you can expect at your next visit:
A pre-screening station located outside our clinic doors. This will include a questionnaire noting any Covid symptoms, taking your temperature and hand sanitizing before entering the clinic.
Hand sanitizer located throughout the clinic for you to use as needed.
Acrylic Saftey Shields at the reception desk.
Staggered appointments times to allow for social distancing as well as reduce the number of patients in the reception area.
Enhanced Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at every appointment. If you have your own mask, please wear it to your appointment. If not, we will provide one for you.
Use of a hydrogen peroxide rinse for patients before any procedure to reduce harmful bacteria.
The use of technology to create a paperless environment as much as possible.
I Have More Exciting News!
We have incorporated an air purifying/filtration system called the IQ Air Health Pro Plus Filtration system. It's unlike other air purifiers in that it is proven to stop even the smallest particles (0.003microns) from being released in the air. This includes: VIRUSES, PET DANDER, DUST MITES, AIR POLLUTION AND CIGARETTE SMOKE. The result is cleaner air without the unhealthy by products. Read more about these filters here.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and every patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 587-353-5060 or online here.
