How Centennial Smiles Dental will keep you safe by removing the contaminant aerosols in our office!

At Centennial Smiles Dental, we start our procedures with an anti-infective rinse to remove most of the harmful infective agents in your mouth that has the potential to become dangerous aerosols. Then we use peer-reviewed science and equipment to further reduce any risk to our patients, and staff.

The Journal of the American Dental Association Studies show the use of continuous suction Significantly Reduces Aerosols and Splatter in Dental Procedure to help keep you, the patient, and us the care-givers safer from airborne pathogens

90% of aerosols can be removed with proper suction and continuous high-volume evacuation equipment. This has been proven to perform better than the use of a rubber dam with an HVE and an HVE alone.

We also use additional equipment to further remove most of the remaining aerosols by using the IQAir system.

This way, we can remove a wide variety of air pollutants we all can be exposed to during routine dental work.

At Centennial Smiles Dental, our IQAir cleaning systems has a high-efficiency particulate filter as well as substantial gas-phase filters to be able to capture both particles (microorganisms, droplets, dust) and gaseous chemicals (mercury vapors, gaseous organic compounds).

IQAir’s HyperHEPA filtration is proven and certified to filter up to 99.5% of all particles down to 0.003 microns – the smallest particles that exist including Viruses.
